Irresistible

Aroview: Susan Sarandon feels the wrath of Emily Blunt in this Hitchcockian fable of one woman's struggle to prevent her life from being overtaken by another.

Sarandon plays an illustrator struggling to deal with the death of her mother, and finding her relationship with husband Neill under strain; meanwhile Blunt infiltrates the family à la THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE, and all hell breaks loose. Though not entirely convincing in its suspense execution, the well-known cast manage to raise a few decent shudders.
