Angel-A
Aroview: This sleek, stylized departure for dir. Luc Besson dabbles in an unlikely romance between a statuesque blonde (Rassmusen), and a nebbish, diminutive low-life (Debbouze) on the verge of suicide.
Slathered in crisp black and white, what appears to be a perfect marriage of Besson’s visual flamboyance and the magic realism of AMELIE never quite converges, even if Debbouze and Rassmusen (by admission another stunning Besson femme fatale) make for an entertaining odd couple in extreme physical contrast.

5 stars (Exceptional) Best of Besson ~Anonz
4 stars (Very Good) Unfortunately, the screenplay falls away after a little bit over an hour but the scenes, where we have the bridge to ourselves, are memorable. The B&W is excellent and the relationship of the odd couple makes it worthwhile. ~Tubbs
