Aroview: Industrial-strength live-action adaptation of the cult 80s cartoon, about two waring robot factions with the ability to 'transform' into automobiles and military vehicles.

Descending on earth in pursuit of an energy cube with doomsday properties, the ‘Autobots’ befriend a nerdy teenager who possesses the key to saving mankind; meanwhile, the evil ‘Decepticons’ wreck havoc on an apocalyptic scale. Bulging with grandiose crane shots and big-budget sheen, this is a veritable exclamation mark of blockbuster bombast, and though cut down to size through its midsection by some unnecessary comedic digressions, is reinforced by dir. Bay’s trademark cinematic girth and some truly out-of-this-world special effects.
