Ratatouille
Aroview: Another Pixar masterpiece from the genius creator of THE INCREDIBLES, this follows Remy, a French country rat, who pursues his dream of culinary stardom from the gutters of Paris to the restaurant of his late idol, the chef Gusteau.
Guided by Gusteau's benevolent ghost, he partners up with the talentless garbage boy Linguini, lurking beneath his toque and guiding his movements to mutual benefit: Remy gets to cook; Linguini gets to keep his job - and just maybe, the twain will regain for Gusteau's its credibility - not least with the cadaverous critic Anton Ego.
Ultimately Pixar weaves down-and-out-in-Paris magic out of a concept so, so hilariously unpalatable that it really shouldn't work. Rest assured, it does, and the animation, bien sur, is superb.
Features the voice work of Ian Holm, Patton Oswalt, Brian Dennehy, Peter O'Toole, Brad Garrett, Janeane Garofalo.

3 stars (Good Enough) I felt that something just didn't click. The kitchen scenes were some of Pixar's best however. ~dr.strangelove
3 stars (Good Enough) Not as strong as others in the Pixar canon but very good all the same. ~Tubbs
