Aroview: Robin Williams flounders as a Reverend whose mandate to reduce the nation’s escalating divorce rate gives rise to a boot-camp for engaged couples, designed to pre-empt failed marriages and weed out incompatible fiancés.

Running the gauntlet are to-be-wedded Mandy Moore and John Krasinski, prey to William’s often amusing, if increasingly extremist methods of commitment approval. His overbearing presence takes its toll, with the relatively engaging young coupling thwarted in their every attempt to ground this clunky, unsubtle comedy with old-fashioned romance and chemistry.
