Matthew Barney - No Restraint

Aroview: Uber-conceptual artist Matthew Barney boarded a Japanese whaling ship, replete with 45,000 pounds of petroleum jelly, in this documentary detailing his follow up to the imposing CREMASTER CYCLE.

Entitled DRAWING RESTRAINT 9, and starring wife Bjork in various states of ceremonial arousal, the behind-the-scenes film is especially insightful as a chronology of the artist's career, from football star to darling of the contemporary art world, with the usual contemplative, creative anatomies thrown in for good measure. Bjork and Mayumi Miyata contribute the musical score.
