Universe of Keith Haring, The
Aroview: Celebratory portrait of the darling of the 80s New York art scene Haring revels in the accessibility of the artist as a public figure, more than willing to lend his images to almost anything in a refreshingly anti-rebellious embrace of commercialism.
As a result, tons of footage of Haring mid-creation is included here, from a spontaneous act of drawing on a subway wall to a meticulous full-body artwork on Grace Jones, and plenty of coverage of his most prolific years as a gay and pop-culture icon; however the glossy celebration does come at the expense of detail on Haring's private universe.
