Aroview: Cool, conceptual psycho-drama in which Costner and Hurt play two sides of the same character: an on-the-wagon serial killer from polite society .

Mr Brooks (Costner) nearly keeps his murderous urges under control by attending AA, while his blood-hungry invisible friend/alter ego/Mr Hyde aspect, "Marshall" (Hurt), goads him to kill and kill again - all while Demi Moore gives chase as a shrewd lady detective.

Classy, clever and against-your-own-best-judgement-compelling, Costner rehabilitated himself slightly with Mr Brooks from his legendary bad role addiction.

2 stars (Good Try) Unusually Demi struggles a bit in this. Having the Costner and Hurt "characters" on screen together is a bit clumsy at times but I suppose it is better than having two Costners. ~Tubbs
