Darjeeling Limited, The
Aroview: Idiosyncratic comedy from the dir. of THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS combines a dusty, nostalgic sub-continental adventure-quest with a whimsical investigation of siblinghood.
Under the influence of booze and potent cough syrup, three brothers (Wilson, Brody and Schwartzman) take to the Indian train system to re-bond after the death of their father, and to find their flakey now-nun mother (Huston). Resplendent scenery and exotic interiors make this a delightful visual quest, with Anderson’s usual foibles smoothed over for the sake the journey.

3 stars (Good Enough) Although the scenery and cinematography were stunning, this film seem to lack the spark of life and humor that filled Anderson's previous movies. ~dr.strangelove
3 stars (Good Enough) Lacks the emotional centre of Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums, looks nice and has moments of humour but feels like a slide towards Hollywood superficiality...harsh? perhaps... ~snakeskinjacket
3 stars (Good Enough) I'm not a Wilson fan but film is different enough to warrant a watch. ~Tubbs
