Aroview: Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman star in this endearing aging-buddy flick about two terminally ill elderly gentlemen who throw caution to the wind when they set off together on an adventurous road trip.

Though dir. Reiner's trademark sentimentality will doubtless put off some, there is enough insight and humility here to satisfy not-too-demanding audiences.
