An undercooked Texas comedy that seems to lack conviction from its showy cast and lazy narrative to pull off its feel-good premise. But if your idea of a great cinema outing is Wilson brotheresque laughs accompanied by eye candy and a half decent old-school soundtrack you could get your kicks from this one.
