Definitely, Maybe
Aroview: Ryan Reynolds explains his 'complicated' romantic history to his young daughter (Breslin) in this agreeable romantic comedy set against a backdrop of nostalgic(!) Clinton-era politics.
Ping-ponging between three women in his life (Fisher, Weisz, Banks) Reynolds makes a smooth transition from his frat-boy comedy roles, with his key suitor Fisher (best known as Mrs. Baron-Cohen) getting a platform to shine as a kooky-sexy redhead in the style of Ann-Margret. Coasts along nicely on the formula, though in the home stretch doesn't seem to know that we can all 'guess the rest'.

3 stars (Good Enough) Reynolds must have made a pact with the devil to parlay his anodyne charms into stardom. But the cast is great, and, so help me, I enjoyed it. ~HiFi
2 stars (Good Try) Except for the kid having an irritating voice all the actors are nice and the story line is nice. Waste of time really. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) Great fun, very witty & even serious in parts. Perfectly balanced entertainment. Film even has wisdom! Recommended. ~Anon
