Aroview: This epic-leaning return to the fantasy world of Narnia finds the Pevensie children heading back through the wardrobe to help Prince Caspian overturn his oppressive uncle from the throne.
While not as sleek or involving as THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, Kiwi dir. Adamson rekindles much of the spirit of the first film, albeit with more pointed gestures towards Lord of the Rings-style adventurism. Hence, the battles are bigger and the effects more exaggerated, overshadowing some of the film’s more atypical elements: namely, Peter Dinklage as wise-cracking dwarf Trumpkin, and Tilda Swinton’s all-too-brief reprisal of the White Witch.

2 stars (Good Try) The opening scenes were fine but then as soon as the swords started flashing and the arrows flying it was downhill - it was then indistinguishable from a million other action films. ~Tubbs
