Wild Child
Aroview: Fluffy teen comedy focused on a pampered American highschooler shipped off to an English boarding school after maxing out daddy's credit card one too many times.
Scripted by Roald Dahl’s daughter, who sadly doesn’t seem to have inherited his unfettered imagination, this mostly comes off as a compendium of teen movie clichés, from the dress-up montage to the inevitable re-awakened redemption. Tame fun aimed at tweens, who ought to get a kick out of Roberts’s thoroughly convincing spoiled brat.
