5 stars (Exceptional) Travis is missing, presumed dead by his family, & his wife has abandoned their young son. Not until Travis stumbles out of the Texan desert, & we delve into this estranged couple's past, does the mystery begin to unravel. One of the greatest films ever. ~GenXGirl

3 stars (Good Enough) Unfortunately, after the opening scene, it can't get any better. The screenplay doesn't require all its running time and you are waiting for the next Ry Cooder segment in a desert or deserted street. ~Tubbs
