24 - Redemption

Aroview: Solid feature-length primer for 24's seventh season finds the ever-durable Jack Bauer on the lam from American authorities, hiding out in a quasi-Darfur African region terrorised by a warlord hell-bent on conscripting innocent children into his private army.

Essentially an expanded episode, this is as much fun as 24 gets, with Sutherland at his determined best playing with the classic Bauer quandaries of capture versus conscience in this high-concept African territory. Perhaps things fall into place a little too neatly in its conclusion, but for fans of the series this is more than enough to whet your appetites for season seven.
