Aroview: Number 22 in the enduring Bond series is an action-heavy adventure with Daniel Craig returning as the man with the gun on a revenge mission to halt an environmentalist from taking over a country's precious resources.
Running with the gritty, troubled Bond re-invented by its predeccesor, there's a brooding tone in this that permeates even the most ridiculous scenarios with an almost total rejection of the series' campy conventions. These will be naturally missed by some, yet it's still a thrilling ride with some of best action in the series to date, and Craig certainly ticks all the right boxes as the buff and brutal modern hero. It simply seems that one will have to wait until the next instalment to see him have a little fun as he saves the world.

4 stars (Very Good) Quantum of Solace is a thrilling ride, directly continuing the story from where Casino Royale finished up and refusing to let go or slow pace until the explosive final scenes. This is far less 'Bond' than any Bond film yet, but still an exhilarating rid ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) It follows the successful commercial formula of the franchise - well done to the special effects and stunt teams. Another excellent casting choice for the role of villain. ~Tubbs
