Aroview: Substantial, exciting WWII espionage thriller following an all-female commando unit of the French Resistance recruited to rescue a British agent from the Germans in 1944.
Their feminine wiles are put to diverse use in executing a palpably dangerous mission, with Sophie Marceau outstanding as the group's stoic but not invulnerable leader - she embodies the film's sensuality and serious-mindedness in equal measure. No doubt it takes liberties with wartime facts, but this is action/adventure as it should be; well acted, well appointed, and packed with as much emotional tension as action.

4 stars (Very Good) A decent wartime adventure, more action than drama and more fictional than factual, this is the exciting and original (or at least largely untold) story of undercover female agents in WWII Germany. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) Putting aside the Dirty "Dozen" scenario and the beauty pageant on show the screenplay is very unconvincing except for commercial purposes. ~Tubbs
