Repo! The Genetic Opera
Aroview: Gore-soaked goth opera set in a future necropolis where worldwide organ failure has necessitated a global organ-selling empire with an attendant team of ruthless repo men.
Sarah Brightman's impressive pipes and the industrial-rock art direction contribute to the film’s guilty entertainment value, but the variable actors are mostly let down by a fatally prosaic lyric sheet and near-atonal musical score. Financed after the director made his Hollywood mark (and money) with the SAW sequels, it's an ambitious misfire that is still beloved by the hardcore goth and fetish set.

3 stars (Good Enough) The music is flat but the film makes up for it in other areas. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) Absolutely terrible and I absolutely love it. Plot that barely holds together as flamboyantly gothic characters sing their way through questionable writing choices. Embrace it, have fun. ~Anon
