Awash with the usual Guy Maddin oddities and sexual manifestations, this takes the director’s time-warp aesthetic to frenzied, theatrical heights, scripted to a brainstorm of science-fiction, crazed melodrama, and reoccurring nightmares. Utterly outrageous fun!
