Aroview: This Western comeback from blacklisted director Polonsky (FORCE OF EVIL) focuses (rather ironically) on the manhunt of Robert Blake, who here plays an Indian pursued by a group of cowboys intending to lynch him for murder. Robert Redford is magnificent as the nice-guy sheriff who leads the enraged posse on the more-than-allegorical witch-hunt.
