Seminole

Aroview: Superlative Western set against the backdrop of 1835 Florida, where Rock Hudson plays a West Pointer Lieutenant who, on the insistence of Richard Carlson's aggressive commander, finds himself roped into a war against the Seminole tribe. Assured performances (Anthony Quinn in particular is startlingly convincing as the half-Indian chief) are complimented by sublime camera work from cinematographer Russell Metty.
