Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Aroview: Delicious family fun with an adult streak sees clumsy whizkid Flint Lockwood invent a machine that turns water to food - upon firing into the atmosphere things start to get really messy.
Much more sophisticated than the concept suggests, this has a wonderfully absurd sense of humour that might be hit and miss with younger viewers but will keep adults in stitches. Beautifully animated jelly castles, ice cream snowstorms and nacho cheese fountains will leave you wondering 'why aren't there more films as fun as this?' Based upon the beloved kids book.

5 stars (Exceptional) Smart-silly and screamingly funny: in fact, I haven't seen a more consistently hilarious comedy since. It also happens to be gorgeously animated, wildly imaginative, and lightning-paced. Terrific fun. ~fairbrother
4 stars (Very Good) The action is unending, the screenplay is original and witty. ~Tubbs
