I Sell the Dead
Aroview: Bumptious horror-comedy of corpses with two beleaguered grave robbers having to contend with the troublesome undead and blood-lusting market competitors.
An affectionate homage to Hammer Horror, Edgar Allen Poe, and HP Lovecraft, this tries hard to overcome its low budget by injecting some well executed slapstick and achieves an authetically grave atmosphere, but suffers from episodic pacing and variable accents that betray its Irish(?) setting. Bares the production stamp of lead actor and independent horror luminary Fessenden, whose work is always worth a look.
