OSS 117: Lost in Rio
Aroview: Bumbling intelligence officer and shameless chauvinist, Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath, returns for Brazilian adventures in this bright and breezy spy spoof series from France.
A more assured and lavish successor to "Nest of Spies", this sequel matches its 60's time-capsule setting this time with Latin American exotica, and sports a script that is better equipped to carry its constant stream of wisecracks, inviting the idea that further installments may not be such a bad idea.

4 stars (Very Good) As you would expect from a retro spy-spoof, this has wonderful sets, music, costumes, cars and...back-projection! Dujardin canters through it all with relish (?!) while the lovely Louise Monot rolls her eyes. Great fun. ~HiFi
