Teenage Paparazzo
Aroview: Adrian Grenier, famous for playing a movie star in the spotlight on TV series ENTOURAGE, turns the camera on a precocious 13-year-old paparazzo in this DIY documentary on tabloid photography and celebrity culture.
Grenier is a greenhorn film-maker and intellectual lightweight, and though it shows sometimes in his trite observations, but he's a likeable dude who provides a worthy, insider's slant on what is well-worn territory, and his film does have one or two unexpected twists that mark it out from cable TV fodder of the same ilk.

1 star (Turkey) One of the major disappointments of the NZIFF 2010. Grenier intrudes on his naturally-interesting subject with redundant observations that wouldn't be out of place in an uni philosophy class, and his smug attempts at deeper analysis ring painfully hollow ~Anon
2 stars (Good Try) Irritating little arsehole at times. ~Tubbs
