Eat Pray Love
Aroview: Julia Roberts plays the divorced globetrotter of Elizabeth Gilbert's best-selling memoir in this gastro tiki tour of Italy, India, and Bali.
As an unreachable fantasy of wish-fulfillment and self-betterment, the film plays perfectly as exotic escapism (replete with hunky companions), though for those affected by the book's personal journey, may fail to ring true.

1 star (Turkey) Narcissistic cultural-imperialist wish-fulfillment doesn't come sliced any thicker than this tripe, and it doesn't even work as a movie. Nice performance from Jenkins, but this is one picturesque third-world bridge too far. ~HiFi
2 stars (Good Try) The characters are boring and it goes on forever but as a travelogue (with soundtrack) you do get some relief. ~Tubbs
