Aroview: Timely, bittersweet immigrant tale of a Palestinian mother and son who escape the West Bank for a promised 'better life' in the States, only to encounter discrimination and economic hardship behind the fabled American dream.

While not as sophisticated as the thematically similar THE VISITOR, it's clear that this is a scenario that is close to its writer-director's heart.
