Adjustment Bureau, The
Aroview: Matt Damon finds that his attraction to a woman (Blunt) may have altered his fate, as set out by a mysterious government agency, in this intriguing, propulsive Philip K. Dick adaptation.
Smart-dumb fun for sci-fi romantics, one might be able to relate to the singular choices and sacrifices Damon's hero is forced to make, but by the end the film noticeably surrenders to its sentimental instincts, and is unable to satisfyingly answer the hundreds of questions "bourne" out of its outlandish premise.

4 stars (Very Good) Better than you'd think. Thoughtful moments amid the action, some beautiful interior and exterior shots of NYC, and some characters that actually engage - a little. ~Anon
3 stars (Good Enough) Uneven but the sci - fi segments are worth watching. ~Tubbs
