Dir. Federico Fellini
In Italian with English subtitles
Rating: [M]
Genres: Foreign Cinema, Drama, Classics
Feat. Marcello Mastroianni
Aroview: Fellini's most revered film is a self-analytical exercise casting Marcello Mastroianni as a troubled director trapped by his own visions and fears, which manifest themselves through sprawling, dream-like sequences. An often imitated, fascinating film.

5 stars (Exceptional) Highly recommended all-time classic. Nothing like this made today. ~Sandy

5 stars (Exceptional) I adored this movie and I connected with it almost immediately. I was fully prepared to be dismissive of it, but I was captivated by the spirit and Id. ~Pop&Coffee
3 stars (Good Enough) It is not an easy watch but sprinkled throughout are Fellini trademarks in plot and character. There is a great opening dream sequence but this is surpassed by a classic final scene in which Nino Rota's music score reaches a climax. ~Tubbs
Includes the documentary "The Lost Ending".
