Aroview: A serious-minded, refreshingly un-histrionic drama which deals with the oft-explored theme of grief via otherwise sensational events: parents (played by Maria Bello and Michael Sheen) mourn the death of their son after learning of his involvement in a mass campus shooting.
The performances, in particular, finesse the already nuanced script, resulting in a film of subtle surprise and emotional dimension.
