Aftermath

Aroview: A young couple struggle to cope following the death of their only daughter, in this somber Danish drama starring Sophie Grabol (THE KILLING).

Grabol plays a social worker who deals with the loss by throwing herself into a case involving a young child whose mother is a drug addict, and her dedication to the child's care starts to go well beyond the call of duty. A film with psychological insights into the grieving process, bolstered by a strong cast which also includes Mikael Birkkjaer (BORGEN) as the husband, who has his own very different coping methods.
