A clean sense of continuity places this latest adventure neatly within the Bourne storyline, although those hoping for the old dog to display some new tricks will be disappointed, with dir. Gilroy's direction merely emulating rather than extending on the kinetic action style of Paul Greengrass's highly regarded first and second sequels.
