Aroview: Creditable sequel to the sleeper hit THE BOURNE IDENTITY, which tracked the anxieties of an amnesiac former CIA-assassin on the run across Europe from friends and enemies alike.
Moving two years forward, Damon and companion Potente are brought out of hiding in India by new threats - by which Damon's ultra-fast skills are again engaged. Skipping from Goa to Naples to Moscow, this maintains a certain globe-trotting suspense, though suffers a bit from over-jittery action-scenes. Perhaps most thankfully though, this keeps the sweaty tone of under-hyped drama, which also distinguished its predecessor in a genre overrun with bombast.

4 stars (Very Good) Excellent follow-up to the first Bourne, this has Damon jumping from place to place unpredictably, with Greengrass making use of the handheld technique a little too often. But the action, tension and conspiracy are all here! ~Tom H
4 stars (Very Good) A great follow up that matches Bourne's first outing, now with added Kiwi in Karl Urban! ~Wizzums
2 stars (Good Try) Had trouble watching Bourne's amnesiac character. Damon really did look dead between the eyes. Lost interest in the film half way through. Brian Cox in another one and does well but Joan Allen a bit too strong for this lot. ~Tubbs
