Moonrise Kingdom
Synopsis: Wes Anderson's latest exquisite comedy, about two 12-year-olds in 1960s New England who consummate their adolescent romance by running away together into the wilderness.
“A gorgeously shot, ingeniously crafted, über-Andersonian bonbon that, even in its most irritatingly whimsical moments, remains an effective deliverer of cinematic pleasure.”~Slate

3 stars (Good Enough) Doesn't quite work but it is different and pleasing to look at. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) Wry, poignant paean to true love, solidarity, second chances and the power of the imagination. Wholly wonderful, not to be missed. ~HiFi
4 stars (Very Good) One of my favourite comedies of 2012, and my favourite of all Wes Anderson films to date. I loved the style of the entire picture, and the performances from various familiar faces in unfamiliar roles kept me grinning throughout. ~Tom H
5 stars (Exceptional) Feels like the most divisive Anderson film, but the "everyone just trying to make it work" themes on display always hit me super hard with this one. "I love you, but you don't know what you're talking about" always breaks my heart. Khaki scout for l ~Pop&Coffee
