Beyond the Black Rainbow
Aroview: This startling cult-film-in-the-making concerns the escape attempt of a sedated prisoner from a futuristic commune.
An ambitious, head-tripping ode to '70s science fiction and the outre cinema of Jodorowsky and Cronenberg, it's distinguished by bizarre visuals, warped production design, and an LSD logic sure to induce either a migraine or a serious high, depending on your willingness to surrender to its abstract vision of the beyond.

3 stars (Good Enough) I thought it fell away a little bit toward the end but for the most part, it was a challenging screenplay with good use of visual effects and soundtrack. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) Psychonauts from the 1960s wreak havoc on the 1980s, starting with those closest to them. The shocking anti-climax detracts heavily from the otherwise trippy visuals and soundscape. ~gnomon
