Fright Night
Aroview: Terrific vampire satire in which a boy becomes highly suspicious of his new neighbours, led by a suave Chris Sarandon.
The superb make-up effects and Roddy McDowall as an ersatz vampire hunter are but two of the many pleasures here. Writer-director Tom Holland would go on to make another 80's genre classic, CHILD'S PLAY.

5 stars (Exceptional) one of the favorite vampire films of the 80s ~Wyatt Earp

3 stars (Good Enough) I thought it got the basics right and it wasn't too ambitious in anything and the mix of performers, characters, and writing worked. Special mention should be made of the skills exhibited by the Make-Up Department. ~Tubbs
