4 stars (Very Good) Paean to London's diversity & resilience through the 20thC set against brilliantly chosen popular songs. Not strictly a documentary but a rich portrait. Powerful social comments along with the funny & familiar. No grist to the anti-immigration mill here ~Sandy
5 stars (Exceptional) It is both a social history and statement of modern London. Film and music libraries have been impressively researched and the editing of the many different segments is seamless and often entertainingly done. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) Held my attention but don't really remember any of it. ~Catapillar
