Sing Street
“A winsomely entertaining musical tribute to how passion can pave the way towards a better life.”~David Ehrlich, Indiewire
Aroview: A more commerical but no-less-engaging Irish music film from the dir. of ONCE, about a boy growing up in Dublin during the 1980s who starts a band to escape his strained family life and, of course, impress a mysterious girl.
Trading heavily on the appeal of its two leads, this also has its finger on the pulse of youthful impressionability and a gleeful affection for the ever-changing fads and fashions of a golden age in British pop.

2 stars (Good Try) It has good production values and attractive performances but the story line is a bit familiar and the music bland. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) A return to form for Josh Carney, following the slightly underwhelming begin again. Raw, lively and brilliantly done it's a fantastic film and a lot of fun. ~Sevenhead
0 star (Not rated) One of my favourites to come out of 2016. The original soundtrack is awesome. ~Biggie
