Blinded By the Light
“It’s the sort of unguarded drama they used to make in the ‘80s — a coming-of-age tale of unabashed earnestness — but it’s also a delirious and romantic rock ‘n’ roll parable.”~Owen Gleiberman, Variety
Aroview: Set in 1987 during Thatcher-era Britain, a Pakistani Muslim navigates his teenage years and finds his voice through a love of Bruce Springsteen songs. With a soundtrack filled with all the hits, this is a no-brainer for Springsteen fans, and an apologetically exuberant coming-of-age drama.

5 stars (Exceptional) A really lovely film. Funny, up-to-date & stylish. Very clever story-line, great acting and superb camera work. Highly recommended! ~Sandy
3 stars (Good Enough) The soundtracks a bit noisy but the screenplay handles the racism and the generation gap reasonably well but things get a bit commercial at the end. ~Tubbs
