Dog Eat Dog
“It's terrifically watchable, a high-octane automobile of a film with dodgy steering, but exciting in a world of dull and prissy hybrids.”~The Guardian
Aroview: Demonstrating that age hasn't tamed him, 70-year-old director Paul Schrader delivers this frenetic, nihilistic black comedy based on the novel by ex-con-turned-celebrated-author, Edward Bunker.
The plot concerns a trio of ex-cons who are hired by an eccentric mob boss to kidnap a baby and hold it for a large ransom. When the abduction goes awry, the men find themselves on the run from both the mob and the cops.
