Seduced and Abandoned

Aroview: Off-the-cuff film documentary following writer-director James Toback his actor buddy Alec Baldwin trying to secure financing for their unrealised film project at the Cannes Film Festival.

Proposed to star Baldwin as a Iraq war correspondent who enters into a dubious, LAST TANGO IN PARIS-style sexual affair with a colleague, the doco has cringeworthy moments of the duo trying to convince various actresses to co-star with Baldwin, whilst also glimpsing the sobering state of film financing in the age of disruption.
