Final Portrait
“It’s a highly entertaining portrait of the two men, and Tucci’s own directorial brush strokes are bold and invigorating.”~The Guardian
Aroview: The chaos and beauty of the artistic process is examined in this biopic about world-renowned artist Alberto Giacometti (Geoffrey Rush), representing something of a labour of love for writer/director Stanley Tucci. The film presents Giacometti through the eyes of the American art critic James Lord (Armie Hammer), who agrees to sit for a portrait with the artist during a trip to Paris in 1964.
