Aroview: Enjoyable road movie based on a true story about the unlikely friendship between an African-American concert pianist and a roughneck Italian-American whom he hires as his driver on a tour of venues through the American South of 1962.
Light in tone, if not in touch, this plays out without too many surprises right through to its feelgood ending, and was well positioned enough to nab the Best Picture Oscar of 2019.

2 stars (Good Try) Its biggest drawback was that everything was so predictable which wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't so predictable for so long. A commercial offering with a great soundtrack. ~Tubbs
