Aroview: A gorgeously carnivalesque and blackly comic Australian period drama in which the traditional fairy tale of Punch and Judy is turned on its head. The two puppeteers are struggling in the anarchic town of Seaside (nowhere near the sea) when a tragic event compels Judy to take revenge on the violent alcoholic Punch.

2 stars (Good Try) It starts out really well but loses its momentum. A shorter screenplay might have worked better. It is well worth a watch, however. The set designs, wardrobe, and hairdos were spot on. ~Tubbs
