Georgy Girl
Aroview: Quaint comedy in which 'ugly duckling' Lynn Redgrave strives for happiness alongside her flamboyant friends. Its casual depiction of abortion made this, in its time, both highly contentious and fashionable.

0 star (Not rated) There was too much quirk and whimsy in this film for my taste. But Lynn Redgrave, Charlotte Rampling (a beauty in Mary Quant dresses), Alan Bates and James Mason were fun to watch in this "arty" film very much of the 1960s. ~ets
4 stars (Very Good) I was simply blown away by the sheer raw talent of a young Lynn Redgrave, Charlotte Rampling, and Alan Bates in this film ~River
3 stars (Good Enough) Lynn Redgrave is the ideal casting for the title role. The screenplay, whilst not great, doesn't follow any well trodden path and is still interesting 60 years on as a time capsule. Its memorable title song helps. ~Tubbs
