Vita and Virginia
“Intriguing and uncompromisingly high-minded, right on the laugh-with/laugh-at borderline, but interestingly unafraid of mockery.”~Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
Aroview: British biopic about the unconventional romance between wickedly brilliant writer Virginia Woolf and the beguiling Vita Sackville-West - an affair that inspired Woolf's novel Orlando. Adapted from the 1992 play Vita & Virginia by Eileen Atkins.

3 stars (Good Enough) A solid screenplay with performances to match and the set design and wardrobe people can take a bow. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) Brilliant casting of the original Bohemians. "Independence has no sex" somehow forgotten in the supposedly progressive 60s. Shows the Bloomsbury set as kind & idealistic - not wholly true. Vita's writing & creative skills underestimated. Terrific actin ~Anon
