“Mikkelsen has played iconic villains before, and while Prentiss isn't nearly as memorable as Hannibal Lecter or Le Chiffre, he still manages to imbue Chaos Walking with a sense of danger.”~Entertainment Weekly
Aroview: Doug Liman directs this young adult sci-fi film, based on the first book in the literary trilogy of the same name by Patrick Ness, who also serves as screenwriter.
A dystopian adventure set in on a planet devoid of women, in which all living creatures can hear each others thoughts, an affliction called the Noise. When a woman unexpectedly crash lands on the planet, an inhabitant (Tom Holland) attempts to protect her from the hostility she is met with by locals. An interesting conceit presented in the familiar format of other young adult novel adaptations such as THE MAZE RUNNER and DIVERGENT.

2 stars (Good Try) It could have utilised the concept of hearing each other's thoughts a bit better than it did - although translating the concept to film doesn't necessarily make for an easy viewing experience. ~Tubbs
