In French with English subtitles
Genres: Foreign Cinema, Comedy / Black Comedy
“A surprisingly taut, deliciously black comedy which offers a crowdpleasing mix of dystopian nightmare and French farce at its finest.”~James Croot, Stuff
Aroview: A French black comedy about a 43-year-old hairdresser who goes looking for her adopted son after finding out she is terminally ill.
Along for the ride are a 50-year-old man in the middle of a burnout and a blind archivist prone to overenthusiasm. Hilarious in places, ridiculous in others, with surreal touches inspired by the likes of Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Terry Gilliam.
Average rating (Good Enough). Showing 1-1 of 1 member reviews.
3 stars (Good Enough) It does its best work in its early scenes but although the screenplay does weaken, it is never boring and is served well by the three leads. ~Tubbs
