Unknown, The
Aroview: Lon Chaney is fantastically expressive in this Grand Guignol inspired silent horror, from frequent collaborators Chaney and director Tod Browning, in what is widely regarded as a masterpiece of the late silent film era. Chaney plays an armless carnival knife thrower and an 18-year old Joan Crawford plays his circus partner and secret love.
